WS2300 wind gust?

I can't get Wswin to show wind gust. I have a WS2300 and I use the WMR918/928/928 interface. I have tried changing to different interfaces and in one (can't remember which one now, I'm at work) the wind gust "label" shows up above the diagram, but I see no gusts.

Is there any special setting I need to set to get the wind gusts to show up or is the WS2300 unable to report wind gusts?

EDIT: I see now that when using WMR918 the wind gust line and label appears on the diagram but it is identical to wind speed. I guess WS2300 doesn't support wind gusts?
