Support for Davis Weatherlink IP or Hautespot HR-IXPSXPi ?

I am investigating two devices what permit placing Davis VantagePro2 output to an IP server, with IP output. The Davis WeatherlinkIP http://www.davisnet.com/weather/product ... pnum=06555
is a data logger whose output connects to a router, rather than a serial or USB connector. The Hautespot http://www.hautespot.net/products/es.html
is a 802.11 device that uses the Davis serial data logger as input, and connects the the user's network. Both these devices transmit data (and hopefully receive commands) via TCP/IP. I don't think either product is being shipped to users yet. Do you have any plans to support the VantagePro2 through these interfaces?

Thanks.

Hello,

the WeathlinkIP is planned.

Hautespot: a NSLU2 with attached VantagePro (or other stations)
and maybe the METEOHUB environment is
a flexible and cheaper way.

I had read about the Meteohub software for the NSLU2. Their site didn't list the VantagePro2 as a supported device. Do you know if it currently is?
Can you give me some idea of when you believe Wswin will be able to connect to either the WeatherlinkIP or Meteohub?

Thanks much for your prompt response,

Bob
