UV-I maxvalue on IROX
Verfasst: 10 Mär 2008 21:36

Hello
In current.html the UV shows a maxvalue of 0.4 UV-I but when I put %maxval[41]% in the wap.txt it shows a maxvalue of 0.2 UV-I. Am I doing something wrong??

@Dan,
are the files at the same time created?
Do you use the UV adapting to the VantagePro values?

The files are created at the same time and yes I have the UV adapting to the VantagePro.
If you want to see what it looks like...

@Dan,
can I have a look at the source, where the variable is used?

@Dan
at the moment both are equal.
... but is your shown source really the used at your web site for the instruments?

This is the source for the instruments then I use Samurize to do the instruments from test.txt.
I have removed the UV vantage parameter and since then the reading shows the same (for one day). We dont have much sun at the moment so i´ll wait and see how it looks when the weather changes.

Now the sun has arrived so now I have compared the "UV -> VantagePro 0..16 UV" parameter and when I use the parameter the readings are different, if I remove the parameter the readings are the same. Does it matter what this parameter is set to for accuracy in the readings?

@Dan,
there are (or was) two different hardware of the UV-Sensor:
- bright diffusor
- dark diffusor
The adaption "UV -> VantagePro 0..16 UV" is necessary for the
bright one.
Whereas the sensor with the dark diffusor show to low values (=my experience)

I think I have the dark diffusor, is there some way to check how accurat it is?
Shall I have the "UV -> VantagePro 0..16 UV" set or not?

@Dan,
no.
I need with the dark one a correction factor of ~1.8 too.

When I set a correction factor of 1.8 it shows right in my instruments in custom.html but not in the current.html. What have I missed?

@Dan,
it seems that the
UV X (original value) and
UV (corrected/adapted value) is shown?
I don't know.

It shows the corrected value in the textfile that I create with wap.txt and uncorrected value in current.html and aktuell.htm. It´s also uncorrected in the min/max bar.

I can´t get this to work. Why isn´t the corrected UV value shown in current.html and aktuell.htm when the it´s shown in my wap.txt??
