Problem with Statistics

Hello,

I'm filling this on behalf of my father who is running the registered version of WsWin on WinXP Pro.

Since the end of the November 2008 his statistics information did stop updating and the statistics for the December 2008 shows all zeros.

He does not speak German or English so he asked me to actually handle this problem for him.

I did check the help information for the statistics window and it says that the nymbers are only updated when the yearly tab is selected and the figures are then re-calculated.

Problem is that there is no Yearly tab in there - only the monthly one although the screenshots in the help file show that there should be the yearly tab present?!

He is running the latest version of the program and I did try to switch the language to English or German in order to check whether it may not be related to some sort of a translation problem because he is using the Czech language interface but the yearly tab is still missing...

Any ideas or clues?

Hello,
there are so many statistics in WSWIN that I don't know, which statistic you mean. It would be better to show a picture here of the wrong graphics.
But perhaps this may help:
- stop recording
- choose "internet - update graphics/tabels"
- there set a hook at "year file" and then at the top of the window choose the desired period.
Afterwards the statistis should be ok.

thanks for the reply. I did try to update the graphics/tables in the internet menu and it did fix the missing data.

However in the statistics window under the Weather menu the yearly tab is still missing as shown on the screenshot...



(Mesic = Month/ly) judging by the screenshots and the helpfile there should be a Yearly tab which should present there as well and If I understand the help file correctly - selecting the yearly tab updates the statistics values in other tabs...

I think your version is too old. The actual version is wswin32_29319.exe
You can get it from
http://www.pc-wetterstation.de/user/prg/
Just copy this file to the folder of WSWIN and rename it to wswin32.exe

Well that's what I thought in the first place, so it was actually the first thing I tried. Interesting is that if I download the file and then go into its properties then in version information it shows 18 as a minor version... But it is the latest one downloaded from the website...

Could that be caused by some different file than the main executable?

So I guess the executable file is OK or at least it seems like to to to me, that is... But of course - I'm not an expert....

please check your settings under
View, Adjustments
and here the Option "none Year File".

If this is set, you can't find such a button (because you don't like the year features ...)

thanks for the advice. I did un-check the checkbox in the View/Adjustments and the yearly tab did appear in the weather statistics windows.
