Importieren aus VWS (Virtual Weather Station)

Hallo;
Ich habe versucht data aus VWS zu importieren. Alles lauft gut aber wann das dialogfenster zum importieren bei 47% ist , steht alles fest.
Was mache ich falsch?

In English:
I''ve tried to import data out off VWS. The correct file is found by Wetterstation , When the import starts the PC will stop at 47 % on the dialog message.
What am I doing wrong?

maybe the data file is corrupt (wrong date / time)

Please send me your *dbase.csv file for verification.

I must warn you the file (2004dbase.csv) is quite large! It's more than 7 Mb.
Do you want me to edit the file to make it smaller? I don't wanna overload your mailbox :wink: .
On the other hand if I start editting the file you might not find what you're looking for.
So , please give me advice how to send the file?

by the way:
The version I use is a demo version 2.84.0 . Operating system Windows XP home.

my mailbox is large enough. :lol:

This routine has some checking for errors - but never can be complete
for such errors I don't expect.
So, please send it.

possible solution for importing VWS data into Wetterstation

Hi all;
I've asked about difficulties with importing data from VWS to Wetterstation a few days ago. I've tried to find the answer and came up with this.

-) On several points in the file “2004dbase.csv” there we’re empty cells.
-) In a few cases the date was not correctly saved by VWS. To give you an example;
The correct way data must be saved in a cell is:

VWS saved like this:

The first two numbers are missing.

-) At one time there was only one number in a cell, there was only a “5” and not the whole array of numbers.

-) A lot of time the data is stored double by VWS. This however doesn't seem to affect the import proces by Wetterstation.

I’ve phone another weather amateur that uses VWS and asked him to check his “2004dbase.csv” file. He got the same errors but on different cells. It looks like that this is a bug in VWS. I’ll try to get an answer on the forum of Ambient to get VWS make the correct savings.

After correcting the "2004dbase.csv" file , Wetterstation is importing the data without any difficulties.

Sorry that the answer is in English, my German is more than rusty :oops:. Maybe someone can translate it to German if wanted?
