Show Wind direction...

Hello,

In the Internet settings ("Internet" - "Adjustments" - Graphics tab) there is an option Show Wind direction in graphics + Day + <> "....." that I don't understand.
With wswin 2.91.7, the wind direction is always displayed in graphics, even if this option is not selected.
What is the exact purpose of this option?

Hello Jack,
in the helpfile you can read:

Show wind direction in graphics + day + <> „.....“
-> forcible representation of the wind direction of day representation
If you picked also the "wind direction" for the collective graphics to representing, the wind direction is only shown in the day representation if you chose also "Points instead of lines with wind direction".
If you always want to force the representation with chosen "representation" of the wind direction, you can reach this with this option!

I have read the help file, but I have observed that the wind direction is always displayed in all graphics representations (day, week, month....), even if the mode "point" is selected.
Selecting or deselecting the option "Show wind direction in graphics..." seems to have no effects...

Hello Jack,
this concerns only the file aktuell.gif
When you have chosen "View - adjustments" the value "show at wind direction DOTS instead of lines", you will see no differenz (that means, you always see the dots)
But when you have deselected this item, you will get no line for winddirection in the aktuell.gif
And when you now set a hook at "Internet - adjustments - graphics" at "show wind directions in grahics + Day + <> "--" " you will get a line, otherwise not.
That means:
dots you get always, a line you get only, when set this item
