Hello,
In the "Special sensor" windows (Solar tab) , there is an option to allow sun position correction, associated with factors (Factor - Month) that can be edited.
What is the meaning of these factors and how are they determined?
Are they dependent of the weather station location or are they dependent on the solar sensor used (or both).
Is it possible to optimize these factors for my particular weather station and location? If yes, how?
regards
WsWin and solar sunshine times

Hello Jack,
[quote]Are they dependent of the weather station location or are they dependent on the solar sensor used (or both).
Yes, they are. When you have got a WS 2500 for example, you should urgently activate sun position correction.
The values you put in at the factors, depend on the sensor you use.
In the helpfile there are some examples.

I have a Vantage Pro2, and I will install a solar radiation sensor tomorrow...
Yes, I have seen that in the help file there is a configuration example and factors for the Vantage Pro, and I will certainly start with these settings.
But since it seems that the factors will change according to the location of the station, how can I determine the best factors for my location?
