Max Rain/day und Max Rain/hour

Hallo.

Mein Deutch ist leider nicht so gut. Ich glaube das sie mein English besser verstehen...

I am using the long-term variables on my weather site, such as %LT_BaroMax%, %LT_WindMax% and %LT_RainDayMax%

From the 1st of January, I also found that the long term rain-variables are reset, thus that day last year when it rained >60mm is no longer there. All other long term variables are still there (temp, barometer, windspeed)

Anyone here that have a solution or know something about this??

Here's an example, cut from my template (custom.txt). Let's compare all-time-high wind speed all-time-high rain/day and rain/hour

This wind-tag really gives the all-time high, even if the "record" was set a few years ago:

Strongenst wind ever: %LT_GustMax% on %LT_GustMaxDate% at %LT_GustMaxTime%

I assume that the all-time high for rain should work the same way, but it seems like it only takes the highest for the current year. Until the 31st of December -06, this tag has given a result showing 61mm/day on the some-date-in-summer-2006, which is the all-time record for precipitation here. Since the 1st of January 2007, it was reset and is showing 7,1mm/day on the 28 January 2007 and 1,8mm/h on the same day, which is no near the amount for that day last summer.

Most rain/day ever: %LT_RainDayMax% on %LT_RainDayMaxDate%
Most rain/hour ever: %LT_RainHourMax% on %LT_RainHourMaxDate%

I also found out right now that the long-term barometer values are also only valid for the current year.

To summarize:

%LT_TempMax% on %LT_TempMaxDate% at %LT_TempMaxTime% <<- valid for all old data

%LT_RainDayMax% on %LT_RainDayMaxDate% <<- only valid for the current year

I think you didn't "tell" the program that it should ... all data.

it's like Werner said.
Do the following:
"Internet - update graphics/tables" and there set a hook at "Dryness IceDays Time" and "year file"
Then choose all the years for actualisation, for example from 2000 to 2007 or whatever range you have got.
Then all will be OK. The variables work well.

But...

...when I enter the menu, I see that the date is set to the following:

from 2007 feb 01
to 2007 feb 04
nothing is "crossed" below.

I try to set the from-value to 2004 nov 01 and put crosses in the boxes you mentioned. I then press OK and wswin does something. When it's done, I can enter the same menu again and the values are reset to 2007 feb 01 !?

Something seems wrong....somewhere?

Yes, this should be the actualisation of the data.
And now do the follwoing:
Choose "view --> year" and finally everything must be all right. When this doesn't help I can't help you any longer.

It is working again! Even if I think it is a little odd that the settings are reseting in the internet/update-box it is working! Now my old records are back!

As said, WsWin does not have any internal FTP-client.

I am using WsWin together with WeatherLink (the program that comes with the Davis VantagePro station) and I use that program's FTP-client to upload the files created by WsWin.
In the Internet-settings in WeatherLink you select which "templates" to update and upload. If you select any other type of file than the template (.htx) it simply uploads it and does not try to change anything. It works also with images, such as "minidisplay.gif", which is also generated by WsWin.

A lot of programs, files and stuff. Mabye you understand what I mean!?

I'm sure there are a lot of other ways to upload the files created by WsWin, but this is how I've done.
