Vergleichbare Tools gibt es schon als Freeware - jedoch bietet dieses für uns eine weitere wichtige Funktion:
Es überwacht auch die laufenden Programme. Wenn sich eines sich aufgehängt hat, wird es beendet und neu gestartet.

Das Startteil von StartWatch ist Freeware. Es addiert zwei Sachen, die einige der anderen Freewareprogramme nicht haben.
1) Der Start eines Programms kann vom Anfang eines anderen Programms abhängig sein, und
2) der Start eines Programms können von einem TCP/IP Anschluß abhängig sein, der entgegenkommend ist.
Die shareware Zahlung ist nur erforderlich, die überwachung und Wiederanlauf Funktionen nach 30 Tagen zu benutzen. Das Startteil arbeitet nach 30 Tagen für freies.

1) The startup of a program can be dependant on the start of another program, and
2) the startup of a program can be dependant on a TCP/IP connection being responsive.
The shareware payment is only needed to use the monitoring and restart features after 30 days. The startup part will work after 30 days for free.
