I hope I'm in the right forum?
On weather stations with low wind direction resolution (22.5° on my Lacrosse station), the representation of this direction on WSwin32 graphs is very difficult to read and very "polluting."
*
For example:

Using the "Smoothing" function greatly improves this readability:
same graph with wind direction Smoothed:

The problem is that a smoothed northerly wind appears as a southerly wind:
Unsmoothed northerly wind:

Smoothed northerly wind: completely distorted and unreadable!

I saw on a weather website (I don't remember which one) that it's mathematically (and therefore computationally) possible to correct this flaw so that when smoothing (averaging) a northerly wind on a linear graph, it doesn't pass through the south.
Would it be possible to offer this correction as an option in Wswin32?
That would be a great improvement!
Note:
I described this problem in the Infoclimat forum in 2020 in these two posts:

https://forums.infoclimat.fr/uploads/mo ... 321051.gif
https://forums.infoclimat.fr/uploads/mo ... b990bc.gif
https://forums.infoclimat.fr/uploads/mo ... b33e1f.gif
https://forums.infoclimat.fr/uploads/mo ... 7da4af.gif
